The Ashdown SO-1200 was created in close collaboration with Shavo Odadjian of System of a Down, designed to capture his unmistakable sound and deliver it at any volume. Hand-crafted in the UK, this amp delivers 1200 watts of total output (600W + 600W), providing enough headroom and authority for the biggest arenas while remaining refined enough for studio sessions.

At the heart of the SO-1200 lies a Variable Valve Drive, powered by a 12AX7 preamp tube, offering everything from crystal-clean tones to saturated, harmonically rich drive. A 9-band EQ provides exceptional tonal flexibility, with pinpoint accuracy across the entire frequency spectrum. Add in Ashdown’s one-knob compressor for smooth dynamics and the legendary Sub-Harmonic Generator for chest-rattling lows, and you’ve got every tool needed to sculpt the perfect bass tone.
